Gateway Theatre to stage Mother Goose pantomime

It’s pantomime time again as the Gateway Theatre gets set to stage Mother Goose.

This year sees the return of many familiar faces to the stage of Portadown Town Hall- Eddie Drury is Mother Goose, Charlotte McClelland and Daniel May return as Mollie Moneybags and Jamie Goose, while Seanny Roberts, a firm favourite with the audience, is Silly Billy Goose.

Hannah Leckey will play the Fairy Godmother, while the Demon Discontent is played by Kyle Emerson, making his debut with the Gateway.

Panto stalwart Marie Tiffney is the Blacksmith and the comedy duo Dingle and Dangle are played by Elaine Hanvey and Kirsty Fleming, who are no strangers to the comedy role.

The Duke and Duchess of Dollingstown are local actors Adam Gracey and Louise Welsby, Lucas Grady is Sir Jasper Moneybags and the King of Gooseland and the Goose is James Carson. There may also be a couple of surprise appearances during the show!

The show is directed by Millie O’Kasili and choreographed by Kirsty Fleming and the musical director is Ryan Harris.

The pantomime opens on Thursday, January 14 and runs for 14 performances (11 evening shows and three matinees), finishing on January 31.

Booking forms are available from Portadown Town Hall Box office or contact the Panto Hotline on 3835 1313.

The Gateway Theatre Group has more than 30 years’ experience and the pantomime is one of the year’s highlights.
