Man charged with litany of burglary and theft offences

A 28-year-old man is to appear at Lisburn Court this morning charged with a litany of offences including theft, burglary and drugs charges.

Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime have charged the man with offences relating to incidents in Lurgan between January and April, 2016.

He has been charged with attempted burglary and burglary relating to incidents at business premises on High St and Avenue Rd between 14 and 15 January. He has also been charged with possession of Class B drugs relating to an incident on 15 January. He has further been charged with attempted theft, criminal damage and interference with a vehicle relating to an incident in William Street on 22 February. He will also answer charges of theft relating to the theft of lawnmowers from Union Street on 22 March and 9 April.
