Man due in court charged with Paul Gerard Curran manslaughter

A 37-year-old man is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrate's Court tomorrow morning charged with the manslaughter of Lurgan father-of-two, Paul Gerard Curran, on Thursday.

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch had said they were carrying out a murder investigation following Mr. Curran’s death last week.

But on Sunday the PSNI said the man would face a charge of manslaughter in Lisburn on Monday morning.

The PSNI said that, as is normal procedure, the charges may be subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

A 31-year-old woman and 36-year-old arrested in connection with the investigation have been released pending a report to the PPS.

Mr. Curran’s body was discovered at a house in Manor Drive in Lurgan on Thursday,
