A 39 year old man was banned from driving for nine months last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for not having insurance on December 10 last year.

Seamus William Belshaw, Drumbeg, Craigavom, was also fined £300 for the offence.

In addition Belshaw was fined £100 and banned concurrently for nine months for driving without a supervisor and not displaying ‘L’ plates.

His defence said the defendant had missed his lift for work and foolishly took his vehicle.
