The Mayor of Craigavon has secured five new summer seats for Waringstown.
Having been contacted by local residents about the poor repair of some of the summer seats on the Banbridge Road he lobbied council for the seats to be repaired or replaced.
He said: “These seats provide a welcome rest for local residents when out for a walk or if they simply want to watch the world go by,
“Wear and tear had taken its toll and some of the seats are in a really bad state, I’m really delighted that five of these seats will now be replaced in the coming days by Craigavon Borough Council. I want to thank the residents for bringing this to my attention.”
