“I’d such a difficult job choosing but in the end felt that these 24 are worthy of this very high public profile. I felt humbled when I read of their extensive hard work in our local community,” said Mayor Lockhart,
The 24 chosen nominees are receiving their community awards for a variety of services including youth work, work with the elderly, sporting achievements and church work. To qualify the recipients must carry out their voluntary work within the borough.
