Three men were arrested following an assault in the Ballybay Avenue area of Portadown on Monday afternoon.
At approximately 12.40pm, police received a report that three men had forced entry to a front door and assaulted a 20-year-old man who required hospital treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Three men were arrested later that afternoon in connection with the incident on suspicion of offences including common assault and aggravated burglary.
A 30-year-old man was released that evening to be reported for the suspected offence of grievous bodily harm and was released on police bail for the suspected offences of common assault and aggravated burglary.
That same evening, the two other men, aged 26 and 23, were also released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Thanking police, MLA Doug Beattie said, “Someone ended up with a broken arm and three others found themselves arrested. We do not want to see brawls at lunchtime.”
