Police have charged five men aged, 18, 19, 28, 30 and 33 with five counts of burglary with intent to steal and going equipped for burglary.
They are all expected to appear before Newry Magistrates Court today, Saturday, May 21.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
It’s understood the charges are in connection with a number of burglaries at residential properties in the Portadown, Armagh and Newtownhamilton areas on 18 May. The males were arrested in the Ballymore Road area of Tandragee yesterday.
