A HOUSE and car were targeted by an angry mob in Mourneview on Sunday night.
Police have appealed for information following criminal damage caused to the property in Brookehill.
At approximately 11pm it was reported that five youths attacked a property in the area.
Six windows were smashed in the property and a gas canister was also pulled from an outside wall of the dwelling.
A black Volkswagen Passat parked outside also had the rear driver’s window and back window smashed.
It’s understood the car may have belonged to a relative of the intended target of the attack.
The youths who carried out the criminal damage are described as being in their late teens to early twenties, of average build and height.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information to contact them in Lurgan on 0845 600 8000.

Mayor of Craigavon Councillor Carla Lockhart condemned the attack on the house and car saying violence was not the answer.
She said: “I would strongly condemn this incident.
“Violence of this nature benefits no one.
“No matter what the situation violence is never the answer.
“It only serves to puts lives at risk and disrupts communities.
“If anyone has any information I would appeal for them to come forward to police.”
