Outreach group for the Jethro

THE next meeting of the Community Outreach Group will be held on Wednesday, March 6, at 8pm in the Jethro Centre, Flush Place, Lurgan.

The meeting will give the public the opportunity to give their views on what they think of the programme the group has been presenting on topics of cross-community interest and visits to sites of importance, aimed at promoting understanding of and respect for the differing cultural and religious identities.

In addition the group would welcome any suggestions or ideas for discussion, topics, historic site visits etc which the public would like to see included in the forthcoming programme of outreach.

Said a group spokesman: “Yours views are important and this is an opportunity for you to provide feedback on what has already been covered and to put forward proposals for items for future consideration, enabling the committee, in these outreach meetings, to continue with its aim of bringing the different traditions together by promoting mutual respect and esteem in celebration of our diversity.”
