Oxfam launches gift catalogue

OXFAM has launched its Christmas 2012 catalogue of unwrapped gifts.

The range features seven brand new gifts tailor-made to empower people and improve lives: breakfast for a child (£8), baby kit (£8), girl power (£11), care for mums (£16), solar panel (£26), literacy classes (£40), and a small loan (£57).

“An Unwrapped gift is two presents in one – it’s a gift for your friend or family member, and also for the people who benefit through Oxfam’s work. Your gift goes to those who need it most, those people affected by poverty, and helps Oxfam transform lives as a result”, said Oxfam Lurgan shop manager, Rita McCoy.

The Oxfam shop in Portadown has also organised a special Oxfam Unwrapped Day, as country comes to town on December 8.

Unwrapped gifts can be purchased in local Oxfam shops in Lurgan and Portadown, online at www.oxfamireland.org/unwrapped, by post and by phone 0800 0 30 40 55.
