Pair charged with arson attack at St Peter's GAA Club
Two men have been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court charged with arson at a Lurgan GAA club.
Conor Mallon (21), Laganview Terrace, Moira, and Christopher Owens (22), Kilwilkie Road, Lurgan, appeared last Wednesday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.
Both are charged that on February 25 this year without lawful excuse they damaged or destroyed by fire a Portacabin at St Peter’s GAA Club.
They are also accused of attempting to damage or destroy the door of the Portacabin.
Both were remanded on bail to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on September 15.
A condition of their bail is that they are not to enter the St Peter’s club.
