Pair for trial on drugs charges

Two men have been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court on drugs charges.

Stephen John McCann (27), Gilpinstown Road, Lurgan, and James Mulvenna (22) Wellington Street, Lurgan, appeared last Friday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon Courthouse.

McCann faces charges of unlawful possession of cannabis and cannabis resin and having them with intent to supply on October 1, 2103.

Mulvenna faces three charges of possession of class B drugs, cannabis and cannabis reins, two charges of intent to supply and 13 charges of offering to supply class B drugs.

Both were bailed to appear at Craigavon Crown Court on May 19.
