Parents of disabled children were left fearful of sending them back to Ceara School after a viable bomb was left in the grounds.

And the parents of a three-year-old autistic boy also revealed his frustration and confusion after he was taken off the bus on his way to school last Friday.

Crystal Haddock said her autistic son Reece, who is unable to talk, went into a major tantrum as he didn’t understand why his routine had been disrupted.

She revealed how on Monday morning she and other mums were frightened to send their children back to Ceara when the school reopened.

She said, “Regardless of who has done it, every child has the right to an education, it doesn’t matter what school they go to or where they live. Religion shouldn’t come into it at all, or ability or disability.”
