John Paul Bell spent many years living in the Lurgan area.

A Clonoe priest has urged the community to pray for the Bell family after the tragic loss of another member of the clan.

It is understood John Paul Bell died suddenly at Castle Gardens, Dungannon last Wednesday evening around 8.30pm (March 2).

Speaking during mass at Kingsisland Church on Sunday, Father McCallion told the congregation the Bells are a good family who need their prayers.

Police have confirmed that his death is not being treated as suspicious, but that a post mortem was carried out.

John Paul’s brother, Gary, passed away suddenly at his Killeen home in Claremont Drive, Killeen in 2013. He was 27.

His death came just five months after a one-vehicle collision on the Coole Road, Coalisland that left James Bell, just 23 at the time, dead.

James was a front seat passenger in the car at the time of the crash, which was subsequently investigated by police.
