Members of the branch wish to thank all who contributed to their house-to-house collection, which raised a fantastic total of £1082.32.
After the success of that collection, the local branch are pleased to announce a Summer fundraiser with a little bit of a difference.
John and Erica Lund will be hosting an Open Garden event on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July. Visitors are invited to enjoy afternoon tea in the one acre garden, which will be opened to the public for the first time.
The garden has been created over the past 20 years, during which the owners have transformed a field, replanted an orchard and provided a shelter belt of native trees. A pond, with fish and other pond wildlife, was created using an old railway bridge which used to stand in Lurgan.
The Open Garden event will run from 2pm to 5pm at 54 Old Kilmore Road, Moira.
