Brownlow Integrated College celebrated their best ever GCSE results this year.
A total of 53 per cent of students achieved five A*-C grades and 41 per cent achieved five or more A*-C grades including English and maths.
Principal Stephen Creber said he was delighted, noting that the 41 per cent, including English and maths, was the best result in the school’s history.
He pointed out that this figure was more than five per cent above the Northern Ireland average for a non-selective school.
Said Mr Creber, “This success was down to the hard working students who were supported by committed teachers who voluntarily stayed after school on a regular basis and gave up days of their holidays to ensure the students received the best possible education.”
He added he was proud of their success and of everybody’s hard work.
