Resurfacing work welcomed in the Churchill Park area of Waringstown

Resurfacing in the Churchill Park area of Waringstown has been welcomed.

DUP MLA Carla Lockhart and Councillor Mark Baxter welcomed the work to resurface the road and footpaths after they made representations on the issue.

Ms Lockhart said, “This is very welcome in the area although it is long overdue.

“I am delighted that this has now been completed and the feedback from the local residents is all positive.”

She went in to say her party would keep up its efforts to represent the people of the area: “The DUP will continue to represent people locally and deliver for them.

“This is one of a number of projects we are engaged in within the Waringstown area.”

Councillor Baxter commented, “Once again we see the value of using your elected representatives to ensure your voice is heard.

“I welcome this project being completed and know that the residents of Churchill Park are very pleased with the finished project.”
