Returned for trial on assault charge

Two brothers have been returned for trial to Craigavon Crown Court on a serious assault charge.

They are Christopher David Doonan (31), and Nathan Rowan Doonan (26), both of Dunkirk Road, Waringstown.

They appeared last Friday at a preliminary enquiry at Craigavon courthouse.

Both are charged that on June 7 last year they unlawfully and maliciously caused grievous bodily harm to a male with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

They were remanded on their own bail of £500 to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on May 10.
