Stormy conditions last night (December 26) meant that people across the Lurgan area woke up this morning without power.

1,500 customers were affected by power cuts across the Craigavon district. As of 11am on Friday 400 were still without power.

Several trees were blown down including the one pictured above on the Dunkirk Road.

The Dunkirk Road is closed along with other local roads including Clare Road between Waringstown and Gilford, Drumnabreeze Road, Magheralin and Gall Bog Road, Bannview Road and Ballyroney Road in Banbridge.

Elsewhere, a number of fences collapsed and business signage also took a pummeling.
