Street lamps in a number of areas in Portadown are being adjusted after being assessed by Transport NI.

There had been complaints that the recently installed eco lights were too dim.

They are at Churchill Park where adjustments will be made to lanterns L25 and L26.

In Churchill Gardens, adjustments will be made to lanterns L3509, L3510, L3511 and L3512. At Rose Cottages, the lanterns set to be improved are L10, L11, L16, L17, L1002 and L1003, while in Corcrain Mews, lanterns L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5 will be adjusted.

The changes were agreed after Sinn Fein councillor Gemma McKenna contacted Transport NI on behalf of residents unhappy with the lights.
