Suicide training available through rural organisation

South Lough Neagh Regeneration Association has secured funding to support delivery of the reputable ASIST training programme.

ASIST teaches Suicide First Aid skills to anyone who may come into contact with a person who is at risk, through the most widely used Suicide Intervention Model in the world.

Recognised by the Department of Health, ASIS is fast becoming an essential tool for all caregivers, volunteers, and communities.

This is a two-day course, which will take place on Wednesday, January 19 and Thursday, February 20 from 10am to 4pm at The Seagoe Hotel.

Lunch will be provided. There is no individual charge for the training.
