THIRTY acts took to the stage on Sunday night for the grand final of Craigavon Has Got Talent 2011.

Three girls, each playing Princess Fiona from Shrek at different ages, won over the judges and crowd and came in first place. Tammy Sharpe, Amy McConville and Holly McConville sung the song ‘I Know It’s Today’. The act was slick, performed to a very high standard and deserved to be crowned the winners and win the £300 prize money.

Show Producer Kieran Corr commented: “I would like to thank all the acts who performed in the final and the team at St Anthony’s for making the show such a big success. The judges did a great job and there can’t be too many complaints with the winning act. It was truly superb and all three girls have a bright future.”

Runner up on the night was Blathnaid O‘Hagan from Derrytrasna who has a superb voice for someone so young. Blanthnaid sung the song Defying Gravity.

Caitlin Sherry another fine singer was third. The Mad 4 Dance team deservedly got placed and came fourth with their energetic and well choreographed dance routine.

Joint fifth went to Hollie Armstrong from Lurgan who performed a superb song and dance version of ‘Over The Rainbow’ along with Linda May Junior Dance team who also put in a superb performance.

Other acts who impressed included Niamh Farrell, Caitlin McWilliams, Aimee McVeigh, Orlagh Shanks, Patrick Moore and Charlotte McClelland who all came into the equation when deciding the top five.
