Gospel music lovers are in for a treat when top country gospel band, Live Issue, hosts a special concert at Newmills Presbyterian Church outside Gilford on January 18.

Live Issue have had a busy year touring America performing in Nashville as well as representing the Craigavon area at sister city LaGrange, Georgia. In August, Live Issue ran ‘Gospel Fest’ for the fourth consecutive year in a large marquee just outside Banbridge. This festival of Gospel music is now recognised as one of the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom with over 4,000 people attending.

The concert in Newmills Presbyterian Church starts at 7.30pm with doors open from 7pm.

There is a suggested donation of £10 per adult and all proceeds will go to support a team from Newmills travelling to Burma later this year to teach at a college in Yangon called the ‘Myanmar Centre for Church Planting’, and a church-school located on the same campus called Destiny Academy.

There will be free refreshments available for everyone.
