The Department for Regional Development has announced proposals to construct a series of road humps in Waringstown.
The proposals are part of a traffic calming scheme, and would see a total of thirteen flat top road humps constructed in a number of housing developments.
With the scheme, five humps are proposed for Cambrai Heights; two humps on Cambrai Park; two humps on Oaktree Manor; three humps on The Granary, and one hump on The Close.
According to the proposal, the road humps will extend across the full width of the road, and will be no more than 100mm high.
UUP Councillor Marc Woods called for residents living in the housing developments concerned, to express their views on the proposals before the closing date on August 31. Residents can voice any concerns by contacting Transport NI via email at: email@example.com or by emailing Cllr Woods at: firstname.lastname@example.org
