Bus substitutions on Belfast to Dublin line

Bus substitutions will operate on the Belfast to Dublin Enterprise train line on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October due to essential works on the line.

Buses leaving Lanyon Place and Portadown will call at Newry, then run to Connolly Station in Dublin. Passengers for Dundalk and Drogheda can also connect with a bus at Newry.

Passengers travelling from Lisburn or Lurgan should use scheduled trains to Portadown, where they can connect with the bus substitutions.

NI Railways local services will operate as normal between Bangor and Portadown.

Buses leaving Dublin Connolly station will call into Newry, where there will be bus connections to Portadown and Lanyon Place.

On Monday, 26th October, bus substitutions will be in place between Drogheda and Dublin and the 6.30am Newry to Dublin and 5.21pm Dublin to Newry will not operate.

Passengers are advised to check their journeys online in advance on Translink’s website www.translink.co.uk or Translink’s Journey Planner.
