A 28-year-old man has been accused on making a threat to a woman that he would kill the whole family, Craigavon Magistrates Court heard last Friday.
He is Liam Lavery, Ardowen, Craigavon, and a number of charges were put to him.
The first alleges that on March 3 this year that, without lawful excuse, he made a threat to a woman to kill the whole family intending that she would fear that it would be carried out.
Lavery is also charged with unlawful assaults on two women, making a threat to kill a female, contravention of a non molestation order and having in his possession of an offensive weapon, a 24 inch branch.
The public prosecution service asked that the case should be adjourned until April 24.
In a separate case Lavery was also charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on a man.
He appeared last Friday at a preliminary inquiry at the local courthouse.
He is charged with unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on a male person on May 3 last year.
Lavery was remanded on continuing High Court bail to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on April 28.
