Two charged after supermarket theft

Police have charged two people following a theft from a supermarket in Craigavon.

Officers responded to a report of theft at 3.49pm on Sunday, March 1.

A 40-year-old female and 42-year-old male were arrested. A vehicle was also seized and stolen goods recovered.

The pair were charged with theft to appear before Craigavon Court on March 25. The charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

Meanwhile, a Swift Challenger caravan stolen from Worcestershire has been recovered in Legahory. A 17-year-old man was arrested and released on bail.
