A man who police described as being ‘unlawfully at large’ and wanted in relation to an offence committed in Lurgan, has been found.
Police said the 32-year-old man has been returned to prison.
The man had been released from Maghaberry, but the terms of his licence had been broken.
Police went to a house in Callan Street in Armagh on Wednesday evening but the man jumped out of a first floor window. He was arrested a short time later.
The man was wanted in relation to offences in Newtownabbey, Armagh and Lurgan in June 2012.
He was arrested on suspicion of burglary in relation to an incident at Rickamore Road Upper, Ballyclare, making off without paying from a service station on Avenue Road, Lurgan, and dangerous driving on College Hill, Armagh.
He is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
Constable Campbell, from Armagh PSNI said: “We would like to thank the community for their support during this incident. This is another example of how successful we are at tackling crime when we work in partnership with local neighbourhoods.
“Through support and information from the public we have been able to bring a convicted criminal back into custody.”
