Forecasters at the Met Office say today will be “rather cloudy but mainly dry”.

Some brighter or sunny spells are expected develop, especially across more eastern counties.

Cloud in the far west may thicken to give a few spots of rain towards evening and there will be occasional fresh southerly winds.

The maximum temperature will be 14 °C.

Some late sunny then clear spells in the east this evening, otherwise it will be a mainly cloudy night with outbreaks of light rain spreading east through the early hours.

The minimum temperature is expected to be 3 °C.

The pollen count remains high today, with tree pollen in peak season. Levels are expected to drop tomorrow (Sunday) to medium.
