A 48-year- old Lurgan woman has been charged with the theft of approximately £30,000.
Catherine Conway, Foxgrove, Lurgan, appeared today (Wednesday) at Craigavon Magistrates Court.
She is charged that on October 1, 2012, whilst occupying a position in which she was expected to safeguard the financial interests of a female she abused that position by taking a bank card and withdrawing money over a period of three years.
It is also alleged that on the same date she stole approximately £30,000 from the same injured party.
Conway is further charged with concealing and possessing criminal property on October 17, 2012.
The charges were put to in court and the investigating officer in the case said she believed she could connect her to the charges.
The prosecution asked for an adjournment for four weeks to July 20 so that a full file could be obtained.
