Sinn Féin Councillor Fergal Lennon has praised TADA Rural Support Network for their on-going role in rural communities.

Speaking after attending family-BBQ event organised by TADA, during the Country Comes to Town festival, Cllr Lennon commented, “This particular BBQ and networking event gave people from the rural area an opportunity to meet and engage with councillors and with a range of statutory agencies including the PCSP, health organisations and the PSNI.

“It is important that people within the rural area are able to access the relevant agencies and receive the information and services they need. Events such as these are important in tackling rural isolation, especially for our elderly rural dwellers.”
