Wrongfully calimed £8,000
A man was convicted of benefit fraud at Craigavon court on Tuesday.
Stephen McGeown (25) of Meadowbrook, Tullgally claimed Jobseekers Allowance totalling £8,110 while failing to declare employment.
He was given a four month prison sentence suspended for two years. He is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Social Security Agency
