Glenavon centre half Andrew Drylie has gone on loan to Loughgall until the end of the season.
The 17-year-old is expected to make his debut at Lakeview Park on Saturday against Ballyclare Comrades.
Lurgan Blues boss Gary Hamilton sees the move as a positive one.
“Andrew has been playing reserve football for over a year now and the time is right for him to go and play regular football at a higher grade and I feel he will get that at Loughgall,” said Hamilton.
“If he stays here it is going to be difficult for him to push into the first team as we are strong in centre half area, but the hope is he will go and improve his game and come back to us in the summer ready to stake a claim for a place in the first team squad.”
