Glenavon aim to keep their impressive momentum going tonight as they take on Ballymena United at Mourneview Park, 7.45pm.

The Lurgan Blues have a great record against the Sky Blues, but with new manager David Jeffrey having injected some life into the visitors it will be another tough outing for Gary Hamilton’s side.

“We have to put the Irish Cup final to the back of our minds and concentrate on getting that third spot,” said Hamilton.

“Ballymena are unbeaten since David Jeffrey took over so we know they will come here full of confidence. We have to play to our best, but if we do we have a chance to keep picking up vital points.”

Kris Lindsay comes back into the squad with Simon Kelly missing this one out while Bobby Burns and Caolan Marron are likely to be on the bench.
