MID-ULSTER LEAGUE DIVISION TWO TULLYGALLY 1
SCARVA RANGERS 6
RYAN Haddock’s penalty strike served up little consolation to Tullygally at the close of play on Saturday.
The in-form Haddock added to his pre-Easter tally with a successful spot-kick but Tullygally lost out overall by 6-1.
High-flying Scarva Rangers scored three goals inside the space of 15 minutes to move from a single-goal lead to commanding position.
“It was 2-0 then Ryan scored the penalty to close the gap,” said Tullygally’s Peter Toland. “We had chances for Barry Lavery, Joe Lavery and Ryan Hughes but Scarva deserve credit for such a strong performance.
“The final scoreline maybe could have been closer but Scarva remain one of the division’s strongest sides.
“At 2-1 we felt right back in it but then a collapse left us 5-1 down in a short period.”
