Glenavon manager Gary Hamilton has highlighted the support and stability provided by the club Board of Directors in the aftermath of this week’s annual general meeting.
“I have a great relationship with Adrian Teer as chairman and the Board of Directors,” said Hamilton. “From day one they have provided me with full support to handle the responsibility of the job in my way.
“That is all you can ask as a manager.”
Monday’s meeting led to the unanimous decision to re-elect the Board of Directors for another year.
“Over the past 12 months, Trevor Harper, Julie Harvey and Tom Cardwell have left the Board,” confirmed a club spokesman. “There was one nomination to join the Board, Noel Hayes, who was also unanimously elected.
“In the Board meeting that followed, Adrian Teer and Frazer Follis were elected to serve as chairman and treasurer respectively, with John Sinnamon taking the vice-chairman role.”
