The Swifts are preparing for the visit of newly-promoted Ards – who drew 2-2 with Cliftonville at the weekend – to Stangmore Park.

Hutchinson signed a one-year contract with Dungannon last Thursday night, but may have to return to England where is currently studying.

“The reality is ‘Hutch’ has to go back to England for the course that he is on, so we might only have him to the end of August,” McAree said.

“But we will look at that situation, and he will be available if needed for the next couple of weeks.”

McAree will also have David Montgomery and Ruairi McDonald available for Wednesday’s visit of Ards – both return from suspension.

Paul McElroy and Cormac Burke are both sidelined with injury, while Andrew Burns will undergo a late fitness test.

”Paul McElroy and Cormac Burke are both out, and Andrew Burns might be available. We will check on Andrew before Wednesday,” McAree added.

“I am hoping Paul McElroy will train within the next 10 days, so he might be available soon.”
