Goals from Caolan Marron and Scott McGaw gave Co Armagh a 2-0 win over Otago Academy in their Premier section clash at Clough, Ballymena on Wednesday afternoon.
Marron fired Co Armagh ahead from the penalty spot to give his side the lead at the break.
The second came from a neat bit of skill by Scott McGaw inside the box. Co Armagh had several other chances to score but had to settle for just the two.
“Otago from New Zealand play a similar style of football and we managed to match them in terms of the physical stuff,” said Dean McCullough, chairman of the County Armagh Milk Cup Association. “We were in control overall and Scott’s goal came off some great skill in the box.”
