Ross Larkin scored the only goal as County Armagh closed out the Premier Section of the SuperCupNI week with a 1-0 win over County Tyrone.

The Vase third-place play-off was settled thanks to Larkin’s header off a corner-kick before the break.

“The boys had more of the ball overall, although it was pretty even in terms of chances,” said County Armagh coach Dean McCullough. “Play was delayed as a County Tyrone player required treatment on rib problems, so we wish him a full recovery.

“It has been a great week, with players from the junior and premier squads also in line for some overall individual prizes.”
