Armagh failed in their bid to reach the McKenna Cup final after suffering a 3-10 to 1-8 defeat against Tyrone at the Athletic Grounds on Wednesday night.
Having already fallen to their rivals earlier in the competition Armagh had high hopes of gaining revenge, but they soon found themselves a goal down.
A goal from Stefan Campbell did bring the Orchard team back into the tie, but it was 3-5 to 1-4 to Tyrone at the break.
Tyrone continued to be on top in the second half and leaving no way back for Armagh.
Tyrone will meet Cavan in the decider on Saturday night.
