MEMBERS of Lurgan Tennis Club were among the prizes at the County Armagh Championships at Portadown.
Emmajayne Cahoon continued her run of success by getting to the semi-final of the under 16 girls and winning the under 14 girls doubles with her partner Rachael Goode, Lurgan. Marc Acum won the under 14 boys doubles with his partner Jared Monaghnan, Irvinestown, defeating fellow club player Caleb Ralston and Kyran Maguire, Irvinestown in a hotly contested final.
Younger sister Rachel Acum won the under 12 plate competition.
Dunedin 2012 Champion Sophie Murray, Lurgan, was runner up in the under 18 girls to add to her tally of winning the under 21 girls singles and reaching the semi-final of the under 18s singles and the semi-final of under 18 girls doubles with Rebecca Campbell, Larne, at the Ulster Open the week before.
