CRAIGAVON squash club travelled to Antrim Forum last night to take on Antrim B needing five points to secure second place and probable promotion to Division 1 of the Ulster Squash leagues and emerged victorious by 11 points to 4.

First on was the ever consistent Darren McCabe and he turned in one of his best displays this season to beat a strong opponent by 3 games to love.

Next on was Davy Herron and although he fought hard he lost by 3 games to 1.

Match of the night saw Peter Barclay overcome a dogged opponent by 3 games to 1 with the match lasting a an hour and 15 minutes in total.

Nick Rusk was last on court and he breezed through his Antrim opposite number by 3-0.

With promotion still to be confirmed, depending on any league re-organisation, this has been a very successful season for Craigavon Squash Club and every chance that they will have a second team playing in Division 3 of Ulster squash league next season.
