Bronagh McKavanagh has had a very successful golf week.
In her first year as Captain of the Ulster Girls inter provincial team she brought the title back to Ulster. Bronagh was ably assisted in her task by three Lurgan girls in Niamh McSherry, Niamh Ward and Annabel Wilson.
Ulster and Leinster finished up with 2.5 points each and Ulster winning by 16 matches to 14. Bronagh returned to Lurgan on Thursday to make preparations for her Senior Foursomes team to travel to take on Belvoir in the Ulster final. A playing captain, Bronagh led by example and along with Annabel, Niamh and Fiona McGrady they took the title.
