CRAIGAVON squash team travelled to struggling Nortel B for their last match and had a fairly straightforward 13 points to 2 win helped strengthen their grip on second place in the league table and a real chance of going up to Division 1 next season.
Peter Barclay, Nick Rusk and Darren McCabe all had comfortable 3-0 wins. Rory Reynolds however had to come back from 2 games to love down to win 3-2 in the evenings only tight affair.
Craigavon have two more games left this season, home to Lagan Valley next week and away to Antrim in the last game.
Next season the club are hopeful of entering another team into Division 3 of Ulster Squash evidence that the sport is growing again after a period in the doldrums.
Club nights continue at Craigavon Leisure Centre. Anyone keen to find out more about squash locally or thinking of playing should contact Nick Rusk on 07515 607453.
