As always the Belgian Project team were present providing the commentary and tunes as well as capturing the moments of pain, sweat and joy through their cameras. Promoted by Apollo Cycling Club and sponsored by Chain Reaction, there were 325 entries making the event a huge success.

As always the fun race (Under 6) started the proceedings and was popular with the crowds. The afternoon was dedicated to the Ladies Race and U16-U14 including the MTB Women’s support race and followed by the A-Race and Juniors and the B-Race as last, who had the full capacity of 100 entries.

Well done to Apollo CC and volunteers for another well organised event. Special thank you to the ambulance crew, tea ladies, Lisa, Jim and Martin and sponsor Chain Reaction for their technical support and prizes. Finally a huge thanks to all the competitors.

The event is now established on the annual CX calendar and CRC’s support for provides a solid foundation for the growing discipline across all the categories. We had an exciting new course for this year’s race designed by race organiser Kevin Devlin which provided challenging and exciting racing.”
