Nostalgia: Gladiator Cobra in town
Pupils from St Mary’s High School in Lurgan were put through their paces in 1999 by Gladiators superstar ‘Cobra’.
They went through a series of health and fitness exercises as part of the Superschools Exercise Challenge.
The event was co-ordinated by the PE department at St Mary’s who had become involved in the ‘Youth Sport South’ project. Funds raised from the exercise challenge sponsorship would go to help support the Youth Sport Programme which aimed to provide additional quality after school sporting activities for all pupils at St Mary’s.
