LURGAN Seconds are through to the final of the intermeidate Cup.
They booked their place in the decider with a comfortable nine wicket semi-final victory away to Templepatrick on Saturday. The home side were skittled out for just 59 with Jack Harrison the bowler who wreaked the most damage. Jack finished with four wickets for just seven runs conceded while Peter Maxwell had three for 14 and skipper Andrew Bingham two for 12. In reply, Lurgan passed the target in the 16th over for the loss of just one wicket, Graeme Hunter finishing on 30 not out and Peter Maxwell 18 not out. So Andrew Bingham leads his team into the final against Muckamore on August 11 at Derriaghy.
