LOCAL club sides will be attempting to prove that they are no fools in 2012 despite the fact that, ironically, the new season kick starts on Sunday, April 1st.
Clan na Gael, Sarsfields, Clann Éireann and Wolfe Tones will all compete in division one.
St. Paul’s, St. Peters and Éire Óg will be in division two which looks highly competitive.
Éire Óg, it has been gathered, have been unsuccessful in their attempt to be regraded from their new divisional slot to division three.
The Ógs won the 2011 fourth division title but, obviously, would have preferred to have been in a traditional division three set up in the interest of making steady and sustained progress.
