Carrickfergus Academy chalks up the school’s ‘highest ever percentage pass rate’

Collectively, the academy stated, they achieved the school’s highest ever percentage pass rate of 65% at three grades at A*-C and two grades at A*-C.
A statement from the school added: “Of particular note was the exceptional performance of Courtney Cromie, Sophie Galloway, Jodie Glass, Jonny Humphries, Kirsten Lyttle, Georgia Purdy, Jodie Glass and Jodie Sylvester who each achieved three A levels at Grade A or A*.

“This has been exceptional year of challenge for all young people completing GCSEs and A level. Our Year 14 have been exceptional in the maturity, resilience and dedication they have shown and this is reflected in outcomes achieved today.
“Just as significant, they have approached the challenges of the last two years with their usual good humour and have been credit to themselves and the school. We wish them the very best for the future.
